Welcome to Barrenjoey Signs, a family-owned and operated business founded in 1977 by Terry O’Sullivan.Terry, a skilled artist, started his career on the Northern Beaches of Sydney in advertising before branching out into sign writing. Specializing in brushwork signage and screen printing, he completed his apprenticeship and started Barrenjoey Signs. Originally based in a studio in Avalon, the business has since expanded to our state-of-the-art factory and showroom in Mona Vale.

In 2023, the business was passed on to the next generation, with Terry’s daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Glen, taking over ownership. They are committed to carrying on Terry’s legacy and building on one of Sydney’s longest-running sign shops.

Glen has a background in printing and sales and has actively worked in the business for the last 20 years, learning all the skills and crafts of the trade from Terry. Glen has been instrumental in introducing new technology and machinery to expand the services offered at Barrenjoey Signs while still complementing the traditional signwriting expertise on which our business is based.Our entire team is passionate about offering premium signage and branding solutions to businesses, providing a complete service from design conception, artwork, production, and manufacturing to on-site installation.
